At the beginning of February, the students of the study programme “Wooden Houses and Eco-Building” who are now already graduates defended their final theses at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. Graduate Niks Samauskis had developed his work with special care. The topic and quality of his qualification work surprised also the professionals. In his work, Niks focused on “The new production building of "Byko-lat” Ltd.”.

In the spring semester of the academic year 2020/2021, six students from France and Spain study at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in the framework of the exchange program. Students who have arrived at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences acquire the following professions in their countries – computer science, programming, tourism and leisure, business and administration, tourism management, and others.

Within the framework of the project “Simulation Games in Strategic Communication” (SimGames), from February 1 to 3, Vilnius University in cooperation with partners from Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and University of Tartu organized an online training with the aim to develop lecturers' skills in communication studies.

On February 25th and on March 4th Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) in Latvia will held online open days about bachelor, master and doctoral level study opportunities for foreign students.

Call for applications for bachelor, master’s and doctoral level study programmes 2021 will continue at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA ) until August 20!

In order to approbate and promote Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) master's study programmes in English in study fields important for society, as well as to promote ViA strategic specialization and attraction of foreign students, the programmes are being accredited, cooperation is being established, the content of the study programmes and courses are being improved.
