Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences Library is a unit for ensuring the planning and provision of informative resources necessary for the academic and scientific activities of ViA.

Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences Library, together with Valmiera Library, forms Valmiera Integrated Library (VIB). Valmiera Integrated Library is a new form of cooperation in Latvia between the libraries of a city and a regional university, in which legally and financially independent libraries cooperate professionally by coordinating, merging and rationally using the information and personnel resources and expanding the services offered.

ViA Library is a member of the Association of Academic Libraries of Latvia since 2002.

Since January 30, 2003, VIA Library is the United Nations World Tourism Organisation depository library.
