ViA holds International Week “Society.Technology.Solutions.”
From April 23 to April 27 industry professionals from Ukraine, Namibia, Belgium, Estonia, Lithuania, Albania, Portugal, Israel, Egypt and Czech Republic are holding lectures at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) as part of its annual International Week.
Lectures cover various sectors, including business management, communication and media, information technology, engineering, management and tourism fields.
The annual event takes place twice during the academic year and is a tradition that dates back to the university’s founding years. Its aim is to allow students to get international experience and hear foreign expertise without leaving the country. This year, the main theme is "Society.Technology.Solutions", which is related to the international conference to be held this Friday, April 26.
Within the framework of the International Week, the lecturers not only share knowledge, but also learn about the opportunities provided by Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, as well as know the region of Vidzeme.
