Celebration of the new 2019/2020 study year
On September 2, at 14.00, we invite all students of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences to participate in the celebration of the start of the new academic year.
The event will take place at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Tērbata street 10, Valmiera.
In the begining of the day, first-year undergraduate students will meet the directors of study programs and attend the introductory lectures (Master students will find more information about their introduction lectures at lecture schedule).
“Study time is one of the most dynamic times in our lives. Your generation is very fortunate - you are free to make your own choices, to talk freely about the things you worry about and to do everything, what is important for you. I wish you to manage these freedoms wisely and use all the opportunities you have been given while studying at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences,” so rector of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences Gatis Krumins.

- 14.00 Meeting at Tērbata street 10;
- 14.05-14.55 Greetings from rector, guests, students. Musical performance;
- 14.55 Photo;
- 15.00 Informal activities.
ViA preparatory events will take place from 1st to 3rd September, when students will have an excursion to university and library, participate in IT training and other activities.
