Announcement of International Week 2019
Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) is happy to invite academic and administrative staff to annual International Week (IntWeek) at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences! The topic of IntWeek is "Simulation Based Learning", and the event will take place from November 4 to November 8, 2019 in Valmiera, Latvia.
We invite personnel from our partner universities’ to participate in the International Week. This year the topic of International Week is "Simulation Based Learning" where new teaching methods are going to be introduced.
Our guests are invited to present lectures on different teaching and learning methods, seminars, workshops and participate in discussions on various subjects, within the study fields of our university (applicants are welcome to specify their fields of expertise regarding proposed lectures in the application form). Administrative staff who are interested in the topic are also welcome to apply. The work language is English.
The annual event takes place twice during the academic year and is a tradition that dates back to the university’s founding years. Its aim is to allow students to get international experience and hear foreign expertise without leaving the country.
