Project E³UDRES² Call students for Inspiring Ideas
E³UDRES² promotes the development of small and medium-sized cities and their rural environments into smart and sustainable European regions and shapes a prosperous future with the best possible quality of life for self-determined people in a progressive European society. E³UDRES² co-creates outstanding ideas and concepts for future universities, integrates challenge-based education, missionoriented research, human-centred innovation as well as open and engaged knowledge exchange as interrelated core areas and establishes an exemplary multi-university campus across Europe.
E³UDRES² is searching for your ideas for further development and as a starting point for fruitful discussions. In addition to scientific contributions, relevant concepts, inspiring ideas and innovative approaches are very welcome!
The call for ideas is now open for the following two topics:
• This is the Future University 2030!
How does your ideal future university look like? Who is involved, how is it organized?
• My Smart and Sustainable Region
How can any region be transformed into a smart and sustainable one? What is the required
network of actors, etc.?
E³UDRES² is aiming for a close connection between science and higher education, research and innovation. This might be fulfilled via classical scientific presentations, however your contribution is welcome in any stage-suitable mode, such as (but not limited to):
• Talks
• Posters
• Videos
• Performances
Any contribution should be prepared for a hybrid setting, i.e. in presence and / or digital. The format can be chosen from two options:
• Inspiring Idea (time limit of 5 minutes)
• Scientific talk / Best practice (time limit of 15 minutes)
The most promising contributions will be selected and presented at the E³UDRES² Opening Symposium on March 22nd/23rd 2021. All accepted contributions will be notified by February 28th 2021 and will be available through open access at the E³UDRES² website: www.eudres.eu
